After the successful wrap-up of the Intel Extreme Masters Season 5 European Championship Finals in Kiev, ESL TV had a 45 minute Live Draw today to decide the groups for the upcoming IEM V World Championships to be held at CeBIT 2011 in Hannover, Germany. The tournaments will be held in 3 different disciplines:

• QuakeLive
• Counter-Strike
• StarCraft II

Each discipline shall have 12 teams/players in total. Once a team/player plays against every opponent in their respective group, the group-stage winners will directly advance to the Playoffs. However, the teams that are placed 2nd and 3rd will have to play a relegation match to secure their spot in the playoffs. The event will be held from 1st - 5th March.
