The 3rd Asian Indoor Games 2009 this year is held in Hanoi, Vietnam, with E-sports being in the indoor games category for the second time. The Asian Indoor Games is a yearly event held by the Olympic Council of Asia, and thus is a big leap for the E-sports industry in Asia. The E-sports category is held from the 1st of November to the 4th of November, spanning a total of 4 days with gamers from Asian countries competing. Day 1 The first day covers the DotA tournament, which consists of 3 teams: Mongolia, Uzbekistan, and StarsBoba (Vietnam). Results: Mongolia 2-0 Uzbekistan StarsBoba 2-0 Uzbekistan Finals: StarsBoba 2-1 Mongolia
