Being a profesisonal E-sports organization, website coverage and article releases are a few of the most important aspects in keeping the community informed and updated. Whether it's reporting on the latest news events, interviews, or general articles on the scene itself, there's no such thing as too many quality writers for a website.
As a considerably new organization, DuskBin E-sports is always on the lookout for writers with good knowledge of the professional gaming scene and enthusiasm to push the scene forward - such talent are hard to come by. Here we announce two new additions to our writing team.
Sim Wei Jiat "
Wei Jiat has been gaming for 5 years and the past 3 years has been at a competitive level. He entered the WCG Malaysia for CS1.6 in 2006 which was his first real taste of tournament play. Wei Jiat then moved into the Battlefield series competing with Team XHYDRO [XEF] in local LAN events such as the CEL Games 06 and 07 where they placed 3rd and the EA Battle of the Titans in Singapore where they placed 4th. In early 2008 he quit Battlefield to play Call of Duty 4 with an early stint in top Malaysian team SWL (Sharks with Lasers) with his first win being the ACGC FFA. Since then he moved to arguably Malaysia's number 1 COD team ESP (Eat Sleep Play), making his first appearance at the AMD Cyberfusion 2009 placing 2nd and 3rd. Since 2008 Wei Jiat has been studying in Melbourne, Australia while competing with his Malaysian COD teams on the holidays. He also competed in some top tier Australian teams such StyleFX.ATi, Team Audigy.Melbourne and Resistance Gaming. Recently however he was involved in some management and staff roles, writing and managing Team eXile5.Western Digital.
"I am proud to be a member of the DuskBin organization, who are undoubtedly one of the best gaming organizations in Asia. Working together with the management team and the members will prove to be a great experience for myself as we take the road to success. ", said Wei Jiat.
Ryan Tan " Come on lets just assume this kid using his tshirt as a mousepad is Ryurial, okay?
Ryan Tan has been gaming casually since 13, (he is now 21). The games played on a casual/semi-competitive level include Defense of the Ancients, StarCraft, StarCraft: Brood War, Heroes of Newearth, BlazBlue, etc. Ryan started getting into writing on E-sports about 3 years ago in junior college. So far he has written for sites such as round1.sg (singapore's arcade fighting game site), teamliquid.net (not under the ign he’s using now, and he’s not telling what), forum.hon.garena.com, as well as our very own DuskBin.com.
With the new additions to our writing team, we hope that you will enjoy more content by them on DuskBin.com!
