Day 5
Starcraft: Brood War Finals: Jaedong 2:1 Stork
Gold medal: Jaedong (Korea) Silver medal: Stork (Korea) Bronze medal: Bisu (Korea)
The koreans have done it again, clinching the first 3 places for Starcfraft in WCG Grand Finals - which is totally expected. Foreigners out there all hoped for an upset against the koreans, but it was in vain again this year. That being siad, a few close matches ensued between the koreans and foreigners though. CounterStrike 1.6
Finals: Again 2:0 Fnatic.MSI 3rd place match: mTw 2:0 CMAX.gg
Again 31:29 Fnatic.MSI @de_nuke Again 16:12 Fnatic.MSI @de_train mTw 16:12 CMAX.gg @de_nuke mTw 16:12 CMAX.gg @de_inferno
Gold: Again (Poland) Silver: Fnatic.MSI (Sweden) Bronze: mTw (Denmark)
A very amazing finals as the first match between the ex-MYM players, Again, and Fnatic which took the game to four overtimes before concluding the game on de_nuke. On the second map Again clinched the win by taking over 16:12 versus the highly skilled team Fnatic. An exchange of bad words between Again's Loord and Fnatic's Get_Right, due to tension from both sides during the second map, but they apologized after the game and it was all fine.
That concludes the WCG Grand Final 2009 in Chengdu, China. We wish the players all the best and train harder for WCG next year which will be held in Los Angeles, USA. See you all in LA!

I think its worth watching especially when two top teams clash and put on a great fight. Wished I could witness it myself and experience the atmosphere too!
same. had always been wishing that!
