The Electronic Sports World Cup, or ESWC for short, has came a long way as a staple event around the world in the E-sports scene. Roaring back into the international scene in 2010, the 2010 ESWC China CS1.6 qualifiers will soon begin, and DuskBin.CS won't be missing out. The CS1.6 national qualifiers will be held online.
Prizes for national finals (in rmb):
Date: 12th May 2010 - 16th May 2010
The top team from 12 groups + 4 seeded teams = A total of 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups. The teams within the 4 groups will play each other in a BO3 elimination matches, while the semifinalists will be playing BO3 Double Elimination format. The champion will be competing in the ESWC National Finals held in Beijing with 3 other seeded teams (presumably 2 TyLoo's and wNv).
Tough matches just to have a shot at competing versus China's best.
