The GosuGamers Steelseries HWC has advanced to the playoffs, 32 teams battling each other for a place in the finals and a bigger share of the $40,000 prize pool.

DuskBin.HoN's latest match on the 24th of October pitted them against American team ddt in a best of 3 series. Here's a brief recap of what happened in the action packed matches of the series.

Game 1 :

In Game 1, DuskBin.HoN pulled away early in the game and by the 12th minute had established a 19-2 hero kill score and a 3.7k Gold and Experience advantage. This allowed the aggressive roaming gank strategies that the team has become famous for to be extremely effective.With continuous excellent support and ganks from [DskB]ismification and [DskB]Lutan  DuskBin.HoN maintained its impressive lead and pushed its advatage to the max. Playing under the name of Ninjaboogie, Capt`mike's IMMORTAL streak sealed the deal and hailed the win even before the onset of the lategame.

Game 2 :

Game 2 was a closer match with ddt putting on some serious pressure early game which saw [DskB]Octy, [DskB]imsification and [DskB]lutan losing levels to ddt's strong bottom lane pressure. The trilane strategy employed by DuskBin.HoN however allowed [DskB]Zekaykay on Thunderbringer and [DskB]Capt`mike on Bloodhunter to pull ahead in Gold and Exp. Both players' farm was exceptional and were able to single handedly swing team fights in their favor while the other farmed. Their stellar play threw ddt's game off, gave [DskB]Capt`mike his 2nd IMMORTAL streak and gave DuskBin.HoN the match and the series.

Clinching a 2-0 victory earned or HoN division a swift entry into the winner's bracket where they will face off against the current GosuGamers Ranking's 7th Seat team unZ. We look forward to seeing more amazing play from the young team.
