The GosuGamers Steelseries HWC has moved on to its 3rd stage and our very own DuskBin.HoN team is progressing right along with it. 

The 30th of october's match was arguably one of their toughest matches in the tourney with DuskBin.HoN going up against team Druidz [DrDz]. Again a best of three, the series was played against the Scandinavian team (previously known as Team unZ) that only a few days before was picked up by Swedish mulit-gaming organisation Druidz.

The following is a brief recount of the matches straight from the mouth of the DuskBin.HoN team captain, Capt`mike.

Game 1 :

Capt`mike says :

"Game 1 was pretty one sided. We were able to gain early map control of most of the map and were able to suppress their supports. We also were able to win all clashes except one due to a tower dive. Zekaykay really shined that game and showed that his Defiler is one of the scariest around. The game ended in 23 minutes."

Game 2 :

 Capt`mike says :

"Game 2 was the complete opposite. We pretty much drafted wrong, picking a hero that Dragon wasn't comfortable with and they showed us that their pickup by DrDz is well earned. Their tri-lane with pebbles gave zekaykay such a hard time and mid was kept at 50/50 due to supports coming from my team and theirs. Also, our tri lane wasn't owning against a solo hellbringer. They won all clashes due the a well farmed pebbles and their execution was great. Though we still never gave up, defeat was inevitable as any signs of us recovering were crushed over and over again by their strength in clashes. The game ended in 40 minutes."

Game 3 :

Capt`mike says :

"In Game 3 we talked about our mistakes during game 2 and learned not to give them pebbles, especially on a tri-lane. The game started great for us as i was able to land a great hook on blacksmith to set up the bloodlust kill. Zekaykay on defiler was again having an easy time in mid against Soender's Pred. In addition, Dragon on FA was winning in farm/deny against Twista's Hag. But everything went downhill for us when they started supporting their flint in the tri lane giving imsification, lutan and i such a hard time and causing us plently of deaths.

We made few mistakes afterwards forcing early clashes which gave them a big lead in xp and gold. They had control of the game until the 30 minute mark when we were won a clash that resulted in a genocide and we never gave them the lead back.

Great farm on Zekaykay and Dragon made it easy for ismi, lutan and i to recover and get items. We eventually took down kong and managed to take the game at the 45 minute mark."

DuskBin.HoN advances in the winners bracket along with the rest of those who have won their matches.
