Sudden Attack Raptor Challenge Day 3
After winning all their matches on the second day of the Raptor Challenge, our very own Sudden Attack team were already blooming with confidence going in to the third and final day of this tournament.
 

The team did briliantly against FMJ|Asiasoft.MY although it was expected to be a close game, our boys took control throughout the whole game and ending it with a score of 8-1. The results guaranteed the team a spot in the finals.
 

It was an anxious wait to see the confirmed team in the finals from the loser bracket that will meet DuskBin. However, Chronos[LZ]ZoWiE proved their worth in this tournament defeating fairprice, J.A.G Club and FMJ|Asiasoft.MY to be in the finals. It was a remarkable journey for them but this means that they will encounter DuskBin the second time this weekend after getting knocked down to the loser bracket by DuskBin on day 2.

Getting to the finals from the winners bracket will give an upper hand since the team only needs to win 1 map from the BO3 format while it will take 2 if the team is coming from the loser bracket.

The overwhelming crowd during the finals

The first map played during the finals between DuskBin and Chronos[LZ]ZoWiE was Dragon Road. The battle was intense yet entertaining at the same time. It was do or die for DuskBin but they couldn't seal the win and the score was tied at 7-7. Unfortunately, the team then couldn't take another 2 rounds for themselves thus losing the first map to their opponents at 7-7, tie-breaker 0-2.
 

The team had to keep their morale high up to be crowned champions after losing the first map. The next map was played in the all-time favorite 3rd Supply Base. Although this time was another breathtaking match, the team made sure that they do not let this opportunity slip away and winning it with a score of 8-6.

There you have it, another big tournament won by our very own Sudden Attack division! DuskBin.SA took home RM10,000 in cash and other prizes as well such as a SteelSeries Xai for each member and a Sudden Attack supply kit (goodie bag).

Our Quake Live contender, nitroN, also took home a gold medal when he together with his team won first place for the Counter-Strike 1.6 title.

One thing to note about nitroN's team is the presence of many legendary Malaysian Counter-Strike players (spot them at the right side of the photo above) with him being one as well, congratulations on the win! We at DuskBin are definitely proud that our players are competitive no matter which game they are competing in. To those who didn't quite made it this year, there's always the next tournament!
