The changes they've made are as follows
The Standard (US) and Standard for Lefties (US) hotkey options will be available in all regions.
Friendly units will no longer provide vision after being killed.
Enemy units previously revealed will no longer be targetable.
Destructible rocks will be added to the Desert Oasis map. In addition, the center map watchtower area is being narrowed.
Zealot: the build time is being increased from 33 to 38 seconds, and the warpgate cooldown is being increased from 23 to 28 seconds.
Reapers: increased the build time from 40 to 45 seconds. Bunker: icreased the build time from 30 to 35 seconds.
Siege tank: Siege Mode damage changed from 50 to 35, +15 vs. armored
Siege tank: Damage upgrades will be changed from +5 to +3, +2 vs. armored.
Battlecruisers: Damage against ground units lowered from 10 to 8.
Ultralisk: damage decreased from 15, +25 vs. armored to 15, +20 vs. armored.
Ultralisk: Building attack (Ram) removed
Desert Oasis needed help with defending the natural since its so far from the main base and exposed from two different sides. For race changes, they felt the zealots are produced too fast for many of the lower level players especially the 2 gate proxy. Reapers and bunker took a hit because of the new trend in Terran vs Zerg where the Terran goes for mass reapers and constructing bunkers to block an expanding natural or bunker rushing. The tanks were adjusted primarily for Terran vs Protoss and Terran vs Zerg although minute difference in Terran vs Terran (Marines now takes two shots to be killed by tanks) This gives Zealots a stronger rule in being tanking units for their stalkers since a common unit composition in TvP is zealot high templar. For Terran vs Zerg, it lets Hydras tank an extra hit against a biomech or mech based Terran.
Ultralisk and Battlecruisers were said to be too strong for their cost, hence their damaged has been reduced. The Ram ability had been removed due to pathing problems for multiple ultralisk attacking a single building. Damage output on a building by a group decreases due to this Ram ability. |
