General
Hellion -Weapon upgrade bonus decreased from 1 (+1 Light) to 1. Reaper -Nitro Packs research cost decreased from 100/100 to 50/50. Siege Tank -Siege Mode damage decreased from 60 to 50. Thor -Anti-air weapon upgrade bonus decreased from 1 (+1 Light) to 1. ZERG Brood Lord -Weapon upgrade bonus decreased from 3 to 2.
Terran mech has taken quite a hit, reducing its strength in TvZ. The tank damage change will also affect TvT, increasing a tank's capability to take just one more shot. The Zerg brood lord upgrade bonus slightly adjusts the Broodlords' potential firepower to something more managable for other races. Reapers will see more use in the midgame since such upgrades are cheap but the build times still makes it necessary for reapers to be massed through a bio opening. 1 barracks /1 factory /1 starport which is common for Terran openings would not be able to produce such reapers. |
